SAY WHAT? A look inside Rap Lyrics – BIRDMAN “Born Stunna Remix”

| July 9, 2012 | Comments

I seriously. No SERIOUSLY, I seriously tried not to use something with Birdman in it as I did before, but I heard this shit right here and couldn’t help it.

Before I go on here is the song first please take a listen . . .

Now when I listened to the song I said to myself, these verses sound kinda familiar, the hooks are just stupid, and WTF did you realize Weezy said a verse without talking about PUSSY & DICK . . . SAY WHAT?!?!?!

Lemme first point out Nicki’s slick line about Pusha T, YEA I SAID IT, you know it’s a damn jab at Pusha T however the line reads “Roll a kush up, it’s a chess game, but fuck a push up” << PUSH UP, not PUSHA good wordplay isn’t it? Give her that one . . .

Here’s Nicki’s verse:

Born stunna flow
Consistently winning while all you bitches come and go*
Oh you mad? You aint headline
You my son and it’s bedtime
I show you bitches how to put together punchlines
It aint working out, it aint crunchtime
Roll a kush up, it’s a chess game, but fuck a push up
Out in Tokyo they calling me Nicki-son
Everywhere you go, they calling you Nicki’s son
Coupes and trucks, money bags, Scrooge McDuck

*wonder if this line is a jab at the female rappers on the come up, Wiz Khalifa did just say Lola Monroe is the BEST FEMALE RAPPER . . .

REALLY NICKI? Did you have to go back and revisit your usage of “son” from “Did It On ‘Em” (All these bitches is my sons and You ain’t my son, you my motherfucking step son) . . . oh and on “Y U Mad”, I thought you already told us, When I’m out the country, niggas call me Neeki and while we on “Y U Mad”, you ended your verse in the same style Yeah we shine, gold cluster/As for your career, dead: Ghost Busters

I’m just saying . . . can we get some creativity? Or is repeating ourselves the new NEW? Then again, what do I know, Birdman sounds the same on everything.

I do applaud Lil Wayne for his verse,

I don’t know bout these other, but I’m gettin’ Trukfit money
And I aint never number 2, so you aint gettin’ shit from me
And you know I’m a boss, so catch me if you can
Blood, I leave a ? bleeding like that nigga got cramps
I got molly, got mary, got white girl, got Keisha
Used to have Trina but I still got nina
Bitch I’m too cold, I’m too coke
I put ya neck in my loophole
I’m too hot, I’m sup’bowl
My money talk, my new bowl
I’m high Jupiter, Pluto
But everybody know I’m from Mars
Keep hatin’, gone make me catch another gun charge
I’m on that good good, floating like Aladdin
Born stunna, stuntin’ like my daddy

He does not use pussy or dick, or any act of fucking in this verse . . . that’s what the applaud was for BUT is not to say it was anymore creative than usual, aside his versatility of the different weed names, what the hell is this: Bitch I’m too cold, I’m too coke/I put ya neck in my loophole/I’m too hot, I’m sup’bowl/My money talk, my new bowl . . . You started off too cold, but you putting somebody neck in a loophole? What does that have to do with being cold, and after you put somebody neck in a loophole, you too hot now and you a soup bowl? BUT AGAIN WTF does that have to do with a neck in a loophole? After all that so you’re money talks now, it talks enough you brought a new bowl? Sir you just rhymed, bowl with bowl again?

AND PEOPLE REALLY RESPECT THIS MAN AS AN ARTIST?

Now the hook and the remaining verses . . .

(Hook)
Born stunna, born stunna
Flip a hundred keys just to ball all summer
Born stunna, born stunna
I put a hundred karats in the cartier mama
Born stunna, she’s a born stunna
Mercedes coup for the missus if she’s a born stunna
Born stunna, born stunna
Stack a hundred mill and another hundred comin’

Money money money money money bags
Money money money bags
Money money money bags
Money money money bags

(Birdman verse)
Yea, a lot a lot of money bags
The money in the garbage can
Strapped up tight with a hundred bags
Money filthy bitch, we in the money lair
See, we shinin’ like the money can
Since the money came, bitch we throw the money thang
Yea, YMCMG
Lauder Jet been a hustla since I hit the streets
2-50 on the new piece
New condo, 20 thousand square feet
Ballin’, uptown suicide
Born stuntin’, strapped how we livin’ fine

True the song is about “Born Stunna” but Birdman, you used “money” 7 times, in a song that already has “money” used in the hook 15 times?

I can’t even finish this. It’s not even cohesive. This song is about as bad a French Montana’s verse on “Pop That”.
