@TrueBloodHBO #trueblood Season 5 Episode 8 Recap – “SOMEBODY THAT I USE TO KNOW”

So Lilith finally makes an appearance last week, after the vamps get high off her blood, and cause serious havoc! It seems though, ERIC (surprise right?) is coming to his senses after a visit from Godric! Let’s see how this storyline continues tonight!

The show starts, with Andy arresting the hoodlum that killed the shifter friends, and Luna is super defensive as always. Someone or another, maybe her anger gets the best of her, she shifts into Sam.

*We catch up with our favorite vamps, returning to the Authority, still seemingly high. Everything going in slow motion. Eric, coming to his senses, grabs Bill and ask’s what just happen. Bill of course, responds, we saw Lilith. Eric being Eric response, “No we’re high”

*Jason attempts to calm Sookie down, and get her out of “wasting Fairy power” mode. Jason explains that she was able to fall in love with Bill, and speak to their Gran Gran again. Another family moment.

*Luna still as Sam, leaves the hospital

*A mysterious guy, hits on Jessica at Fangtasia . . . SUSPECT . . .

*Still high off of Lilith blood, Russell confesses he is born again. Salome sanctions Newell to get 1,000 humans for them to dine on, including a baby. Eric . . visibly upset, leaves, he ask Bill and he stays.

*Alcide and his new wolf friend . . . have a very very hot scene. (Definitely can compare to Sookie & Eric in the woods)

*Salome calls Bill into a meeting to dine with her. Bill declines having a flashback to his daughter’s deathbed, where she beg of him to change her. Back into present, Salome continues to persuade Bill to feed . . . as he does, Salome prays to Lilith.

*Hoyt is with his lil hoodlum buddies, as they arrive to their home, they surprise Hoyt with Jessica . . . mmhmm, we just said that guy was suspect. Killing Jessica is his initiation into the group. Luckily . . . they lock the door and leave Hoyt in the room with Jessica, until he kills her.

*Back at Fairy club, they go to Claude and his sisters to find out who killed their parents. Claude agrees to try to help and tells them to meet at the bridge their parents were killed at.

*Driving home, with his lips still messed up (from being sewn), a first aid kit drops from the sun visor, in the box, and the work badge of Jesus, Lafayette finds some V, and heals his lips. Jesus then appears in the car.

*Andy interrogates the hoodlum, Andy gets heated and as he puts his hands on him. Sam asks to speak to him alone. He shifts into a snake, gets info from the guy (he tells them where Jessica is) as this is happening Luna (as Sam) comes to the station.

*The fairies meet at the bridge, with Sookie and Jason, and are going to try to see the past through the fairies and Sookie. Sookie, transports back, seeing the murdeer of her parents through her moms eyes. As the vamp kills her parents, she starts to see things as the vamp, and then her fairy godmother shoots light at him (is a male vamp).

*Jessica begs Hots to take the chains off. He retorts by yelling out the “wrong” she has done. Asking her why she doesn’t love him, she is honest and says, she waited for the love to come back and it didn’t. Hoyt shoots the gun . . . as hoodlum comes into the room, Jessica jumps out and kills him. Hoyt tells her to come on, but it’s daylight.

*Lafayette arrives home to find Holly and Arlene, he immediately dismissing them. Holly persuades Lafayette to do a seance. Lafayette says, he’s tried of doing it for free, and wants to be paid.

*Sam, Andy, and Luna find Jessica. As Luna starts sensing or smelling someone else in the room, she keels over in pain.

*At Sookie’s house when Claude is debriefing Sookie about what happened, he mentions that Sookie should have never been able to see thru the Vamp’s eyes. As Jason starts freaking out, Sookie goes into her world, and realized Claudine called the Vamp a name.

*During work hours at Fangtasia, Tara comes across a old classmate. Giving Tara trouble, Tara threatens her, but Pam comes in . . . kinda random scene.

*PACKMASTER meeting . . . JD and ALCIDE is about to fight . . . JD brings out a young trackstar for him and Alcide to hunt. Alcide declines to fight to save the boy. JD then says, he is going to chase the boy anyways, causing Alcide to fight.

*Nora while praying to Lilith, is greeted by Eric. Eric and Nora began to talk. While she defends Lilith, he tells her Godric was also there the night before. After some talking, Nora says “FUCK GODRIC” to Eric. Visibly hurt, Eric attacks her but recants.

*Luna still as Sam, is taking care of her. Kinda weird, seeing Sam talk to Sam. Sam kisses Sam on the forehead and she turns back into Luna.

*Pam delivers the prick classmate to Tara as a gift. Glamouring her to be Tara’s slave.

*Alcide catches up to JD right when he catches the trackstar. Alcide and JD fight, JD kicks his ass. When he goes to kill him, Martha comes in persuading him not to do it, and he kicks him out the pack.

*Arlene tricks, Terry and Patrick to coming to the seance. Unwillingly they sit down. Patrick doesn’t want to, but Terry tells him Lafayette is the real thing. As Lafayette starts the seance . . . he doesn’t really believe. The lady does appear to Lafayette, and says she will not stop, she does not forgive. As Lafayette starts to say, she will lift the curse, the spirit jumps into Lafayette, ranting in her native tongue. When Lafayette snaps out of it, he tells them, Terry has to kill Patrick or Patrick has to kill Terry on something.

*Hoyt wondering down the street, stops a truck. The person pulls a gun out.

*When Sookie is brushing her hair, the face of the vampire that killed her parents comes into a spirit, saying he is coming for her.

*The Authorities meet, with Salome saying they must start taking down the mainstreamers. As they start talking about ways to kills mainstreamers. Bill comes up with the idea to bomb the True Blood factories.

Eric ask Bill what is he doing, he replies “EVOLVING” End of Show.

WHEW . . . what is going to happen???
