Azature’s $250,000 Black Diamond Nail Polish

In a press release, the designer said that the development of this one-of-a-kind nail polish stemmed from his desire to showcase the “beauty, mystery and sophistication” of black diamonds on women’s nails. “One day I thought, ‘why not showcase this style on nails?’ So I developed a Black Diamond Nail Polish with the same attention and quality as my jewelry, in order to preserve the elegance of the black diamond,” said Azature. Since the real bottle, all $250,000 worth, will only be available to one buyer, Azature will be releasing a $25 bottle at Fred Segal this month. While it won’t be 267 carats of black diamonds, it will contain enough to suit it’s name.
The woman who wears this polish will undoubtedly be . . . THAT ISH. Let’s just hope if you can afford to pay a ridiculous amount for an item that will chip off in a few days of wear, you at least do it while feeding the homeless or participating in some kind of charity work. o_O
